COMPCORE Technology in the barrel of the Encore Hybrid features a Ringless R5 alloy barrel that is thinned out by 30% and internally backed with Thermo Compoosite Technology. This is featured across the length of the hitting surface, creating thinner barrel walls, bigger sweet spots, and maximizing the trampoline effect. The Encore Hybrid also includes PURE LYNK CXN, which creates less barrel flex and more power for the hitter. This technology connects the handle directly to the barrel and maximizes the stiffness, energy transfer, and power at contact. On this bat from Easton, a Pro-Stiff Carbon Handle is designed with extra-stiff carbon fibers to create a more-solid handle and giving the athletes the stiff feel they love.
